Sir Alfred Nobel, the internationally respected Philanthropist, used his enormous wealth, to establish the “Nobel Foundation”. This lay the pathway for the onset of the “Nobel Prize”, the highest global recognition for human endeavour.
We are deeply inspired by the above and consequently, the “Mumbai Ratna Awards” was conceptualised, to recognise & honour individuals who have made stellar and noteworthy contribution towards the growth & development of the Mumbai Metropolis and the social fabric of India’s commercial capital.
The “Mumbai Ratna Awards” are registered with the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India. The Awards are presented by M/s FT Events, part of the Enarr Group (www.enarr.com) (www.nanananifoundation.org)
The Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra, Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari Ji, extended complete support to this extraordinary social initiative and readily agreed to preside and host the “1st Mumbai Ratna Awards” function at the picturesque locale of the Raj Bhavan, Mumbai. The Governor was extremely gracious to offer to host the event as an annual ritual, thereafter.
The function was to be primarily held on 20th March, 2021 but the same stood cancelled due to Government of Maharashtra, Covid 19 protocols.
It now stands re scheduled for 19th July, 2021 at the Raj Bhavan, Malabar Hill, Mumbai 400006 from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm under the patronage of The Hon’ble Governor.
